| JMary Margaret Brosnahan has been a judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County since 2000. She is currently assigned to the Criminal Division at 2650 S. California, Chicago, Illinois. Prior to becoming a judge, she was an attorney for 14 years. She was a prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office from 1986 to her election in 2000. She received her law degree from DePaul University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Judge Brosnahan has been a supervising adjunct professor of law at DePaul University College of Law ,teaching trial advocacy since 1993. Judge Brosnahan has taught at the Cook County New Judge’s School since 2002. Judge Brosnahan is also active in volunteering to support a charitable cause.
