Judicial Experience: In November 1996, Suriano was first elected to the bench. Judge Suriano was assigned to the 1st Municipal District of the Circuit Court of Cook County. He has presided over two dozen misdemeanor jury trials and numerous bench trials. He originally was assigned to Traffic Court. He has sat in most of the branch courts hearing misdemeanor, domestic violence and felony cases. He currently presides in the Civil Section in the 1st Municipal District and has conducted over 200 jury trials.
