Judicial Experience:  Since 2006, Judge Tristano has presided in
Courtroom 206 at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse, where she hears
civil cases for contracts up to $100,000 in value, landlord-tenant disputes,
collection proceedings and small claims cases.  Prior to this assignment,
she served in the general rotation of criminal misdemeanor and traffic
calls in District 3.  Her earlier assignments at the Daley Center were in
Traffic Court and Housing Court, where she heard administrative review appeals.

Awards:  Invited speaker at the annual conferences of the National Association of Administrative Law
Judges and the Illinois Association of Administrative Law Judges.  Lecturer on collection proceedings and
running for public office for the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.  Outstanding leader award from the
Girl Scouts of America.
